Stephen Gould pioneers creative product and packaging solutions for the world’s most trusted brands. Chen Design Associates relaunched their website with a fresh new look and a more fully realized expression of our brand which has named their website as one of the best web design projects of 2021.
As a long term client, there are many aspects of the brand I got to work on and explore from the early brand development, to website launch day, to ongoing marketing material. This was one of the more extensive projects that involved user testing and meticulous thought going into the UX development. My favorite part of developing the UI was learning new and interesting ways to use the Search function as well as “Accepting Cookies” banner. As for photography, I’ve gotten to shoot multiple projects of theirs; punching into details to showcase their equal attention that we want to give them. I’ve had the privilege to learn as a lead photographer but also as an assistant to lead videographers, who’s works can be seen throughout the brand. Not only do I get to work with them onset but also work with their footage on the editing floor as well. As the brand develops, so does their marketing needs and creating those assets have both been a challenge to create something uniquely branded while also being excited that they’re different from other competitors.
